Importino (“the App”) is provided by Unmatched Scaling LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains which information the App collects when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store, how we use it and how it is deleted.
Information we collect
- Store information: the shop domain, the access token Shopify issues to the App, and the store's currency.
- Store contact e-mail: read from Shopify only to pre-fill the in-app support form. It is stored only if you send a support message.
- App data you create: your import settings, a history of imported products (title, image URL, source URL, prices, Shopify product ID) and import counts used for plan limits.
- Support messages: the e-mail address and message you send through the support chat.
The App does not access, collect or store any information about your customers or orders.
How we use information
- To import products into your store and keep track of their source prices.
- To apply your plan limits and process charges through Shopify's billing system.
- To answer your support requests.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
- Shopify – platform, authentication and billing.
- Fly.io – hosting of the App and its database.
- Resend – delivery of support e-mails to our team.
- Frankfurter (European Central Bank rates) – currency conversion; no personal data is sent.
When you ask the App to import a product, our servers request the web page you entered. No information about your store is sent to that website.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, your session is removed immediately, and Shopify instructs us to erase all remaining data for your store 48 hours later (shop/redact), which we do automatically. Products already created in your Shopify store remain there and are under your control.
Affiliate program
If you join the Importino affiliate program we store your name, e-mail address, chosen referral code, the channel you share on and your payout details, plus clicks on your link and the stores you refer (shown to you only in masked form). We use this to attribute referrals, calculate commissions and pay you. Stores that enter an affiliate's referral code in the app are linked to that affiliate. Affiliate data is kept while you take part in the program and for as long as bookkeeping law requires afterwards; contact us to have it removed.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by contacting us. If you are located in the EEA or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
